Sweat Shirts Do Have A Place In Fashion

Sweatshirts Have A Place In Fashion

I know, if I'm not going anywhere why get spend so much time getting dressed? I've been in a flare up so the majority of my time is being spent on the sofa with maybe a quick errand to Walgreens or just a walk to the mailbox. Some might think I care too much about how I look but it's about honor, honoring myself. It's about not giving up and trying not to lose myself because of what is happening to me. I'm not spending hours on makeup and hair but I haven't done that in years. I'm all about good  skincare, a great haircut and the 5 minute face. As Carl Jung said, I am not the sum of what has happened to me.

Typically I hate Sweats but have gradually found the beauty in them, I just have to find a way to incorporate the comfort with my personal style. First get the clich? out of your head of sweats and sneakers. It's sloppy and if your not in college rolling out of bed with a killer hangover it is just a really bad look. Second  mix them with a dress shoe or ankle boots, than add something edgy whether it's jewelry or a leather Biker Jacket. Remember mixing things that don't belong creates interest, creating style. Third and most important is making sure the cut and fit are perfect for your body shape. Oversized cardigans look great with a silk dress but when it comes to sweats it looks frumpy, frumpy is never a good look. I will post other looks incorporating sweats this month.
