Cropped pants are coming back, did they ever leave? Think candy colored pink tweed (yes I actually have them),
men's inspired cuffed gray wool and even jeans from rolled up to cuffs to wide legged cropped. This is actually something that you could find in end of season sales to get the look for a lot less than it will be in the stores in another month. The other huge trend is going to be the longer double breasted blazer and it is the perfect compliment for your cropped pants including the jeans. It adds some structure and balances the look out. It is a crazy mix of 80's power suits, 70's disco and retro 60's in other words fall is going to be so much fun! It is about finding your personality and standing out.
Hint If you can find a pair that is exactly what you want but it is cropped or if you have a pair of pants that could be re purposed don't forget your secret weapon, your tailor. If you get them at the right price you can have them tweaked to be perfect.
