My Version Of Sweats
Occasion: Nada, zip, nothing
Style: Step up from sweats
Inspired by quote from Karl Lagerfeld "Sweats are what one puts on when they have given up"
Style Tip: This is about complimentary shapes by pairing the swing sweatshirt with a pixie pant I actually create the illusion of being thinner. Mixing shapes and materials with it's opposite you can create a great look that is interesting and unique ie: chunky knit with silk, feminine florals with edgier pieces, feminine with masculine.
Swing sweatshirt from Derek Lam no longer available. Look for a sweatshirt in a different cut that is more fashion forward then the traditional sweatshirt.

Dress up your plain sweatshirt with 3 brooches Zara has some great fun options and you can use the brooches to dress up a coat, blazer or at your waist on a dress that could use a little updating. It really needs to be 3 or it won't look right.
