Why is it Ok to Lose Clothes because they are Too Big?

Have you ever put something on and it is too small and you are so upset, obviously it shrunk, you think about how much it cost. Ugh the money you lost! Now have you ever put something on and it is too big? I did this yesterday and I did a little happy dance. I was thrilled I've lost weight! Today I'm thinking why is it ok to lose money on clothes that are too big and if it is too small you are pissed? Just a thought.
