Drink warm lemon water in the morning

Every morning I drink warm water with the juice of 1/2 lemon before I eat or have a cup of coffee. Its a simple thing to add to your day and has so many benefits. On top of that I drink cold water with lemon 6 times a day for anti inflammatory benefits. Again its an easy thing to add. Lemons are high in vitamin C which will improve your skin, protect collagen and give you back that inner glow.

Prevent constipation its the pectin fiber found in lemons.

Flush toxins from your body

It aids digestion

Great source of citric acid, potassium, calcium and phosphorus

Helps prevent growth of bacteria so it helps protect you from infection and disease

Helps cure the common cold - so maybe it wasn't the tea but the lemon in it

The potassium in lemons supports and maintains brain function

Strengthens liver function

Can ease heart burn

Help prevent acne and wrinkles

Maintain eye health

Replenish salts in your body after a heavy workout - Much better for you then sports drinks full of sugar, dyes and chemicals that are full of empty calories

Some people say that the warm water and 1/2 of a lemon first thing in the morning might get your metabolism a jumpstart and aid in weight loss
