I am absolutely loving this Gucci SS15 look but the kids insist on eating this year so it is not in the cards for me. Obviuosly it screams 70's with from the print to the wide leg jeans and the chunky heeled boot. The elements are amazing and if I want to recreate this look I need to find a way to capture it so it translates right.
First the cut, the purportions are the most important part of this look. You have the wide leg jean, I don't like the cropped wide leg and I don't think it is an important part of recreating the look but the cut of the jean and the color are important.
Second the jacket besides the colors, which if you don't already know the orange/orange red is the it color for SS15, the cut is sort of shrunken and very fitted counter acting the full look of the jeans. From what I can see it appears to be a slinky fitted orange tank under the jacket.
Finally the boot don't focus on the snakeskin pattern its more about the chunky/blocked heel that gives it the 70's glam feel. Any other style of shoe will throw the whole look off. You could also wear a chunky 70's sandal and remove the jacket for warmer weather.
It is a great look that is glamurous, chic and down to earth/girl next door. Think Jane Birkin. The jacket is enough interest so no accessories or it will lose the feel but if you skip the jacket you can add a patterned scarf and wear it as a headband for an alternate look.
