Although I believe all rules are meant to be broken I do feel that the cowlneck sweater is a don't. First its not something I find all that flattering to begin with. Second there is a fact that when we get older our skin begins to sag. I am sure you know adding hieght to the crown of you hair can actually help bring everything up now a cowlneck does the exact opposite. I think a cowlneck ages you beyond the fact again that I just dont think it is flattering. Off the shoulder looks good. Square neck, boat neck, v neck and crewnecks look great. I have never seen a cowlneck sweater that made say wow I really love the way she looks
