Quinoa is the Most Perfect Food
Quinoa is an ancient grain with a nutty taste, actually I like the taste of Quinoa so its not hard to eat. Hint, rinse the Quinoa a couple of times before you cook it or it will taste a little like dirt. As far as health benefits it is high in anti oxidants and phytonutrients. Quinoa is high in two flavanoids quercetin and kaempferol in fact the levels found in it are higher than cranberries and lingonberries. So eat more Quinoa and you will look and feel younger. Quinoa is : anti inflammatory, high in maganese, high in copper, high in fiber, high in folate, high in zinc, high in iron and high in protien. Whew that was a lot! Its no wonder they are claiming that Quinoa is the healthiest food. It is easy to add to your diet. You can eat it could like a salad, you can even eat it as a breakfast cereal. Again before you crinkle up your nose as if I was trying to feed you liver it actually taste good. There is absolutely nothing offensive about the taste, smell or texture!! Even my junk food eating, meat eating, seriously health food phobic husbands like quinoa so no excuses.
