There is no magic weight loss pill so I dont want to give you the impression that Chia seeds will make you lose weight. With that said Chia Seeds are a nutritional power house.

*High in dietary Antioxidants - Antioxidant supplements dont work you really need to get antioxidants from food
*High in Calcium - 1oz is 18% of the RDA
*High in Omega 3
The benefits? Antioxidants fight aging and cancer. It could help people with Type 2 Diabetes. Most of us do not get enough fiber so it is an easy way to get it. Just sprinkle it on salad, yogurt or cereal it has a nutty taste so it wont be offensive.
Side note on that Omega 3. I listed it as a benefit because the bag says it is what they dont tell you is that is ALA Omega 3 not DHA. Basically it has no real value for you in regards to Omega 3.
